The Peace Hub Conversations is part of the Safe, Cohesive and Just Communities project that aims to increase peace, safety and prosperity for vulnerable and at-risk Bangsamoro communities. Working with the partners, the Project builds community resilience by:
  • enhancing local governance through improved interactions among civil society, the police local governments and communities
  • creating alternative pathways to access justice, resolve conflict through community empowerment
  • increasing capacity for women and youth to support local social action for peace and development
  • Improving capacity for effective national policy engagement and advocacy.

“Bangsamoro and Beyond: A National Conversation” is a televised forum that aims to generate popular understanding and support for the Bangsamoro Organic Law (BOL) and broadly the Government of the Philippines–Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) peace process by highlighting the positive social, economic, and security implications of the peace process to the Philippines. Interactive cultural, artistic and musical expressions of peace in relation to the Bangsamoro will be showcased in the forum event. At least 300 live audience representing different sectors and areas in the Philippines will participate in the live recording of the forum inside Dolphy Theatre at the ABS-CBN compound.  Officially endorsed by both the Office of the Presidential Assistant on the Peace Process (OPAPP) and MILF, it will be one of the foremost activities celebrating the month of peace in September 2018, with premiere nationwide airing on ABS-CBN News Channel (ANC) in the same month.
