For the consultation phase of the community policing project, Pieter Cronje, British Council consultant, facilitated a series of one-day training of facilitators on community policing consultations. The training sessions aimed at assisting community policing facilitators to plan, organise and facilitate the consultation sessions in their respective communities. He demonstrated the use of a standardised questionnaire to capture and document community responses that reflect the needs and expectations of the community and the police on the project.
