Climate-Adaptive Reimaginings for Enhancing Healthcare Spaces of the Future. Creating Speculative Architecture to Building Connections for Healthy and Climate Resilient Communities.
This project unites scholarly and artistic efforts to redefine architectural paradigms in areas vulnerable to climate change and natural disasters. Focusing on local knowledge and community engagement, the project promotes innovative, inclusive, and resilient architectural practices through three interconnected phases. The first phase involves creative deep mapping and community engagement, connecting with urban communities and highlighting climate justice and health equity. The second phase sees architects and artists envisioning climate-resilient healthcare infrastructures that prioritise inclusivity and sustainability. Finally, the project will share artistic outputs, including prototypes and digital maps, to foster cross-border dialogue and action on climate-resilient healthcare architecture.
