The Royal Academy of Dance conducted a two-day workshop on Basic Anatomy and Nutrition for the Dance at the Steps Dance Studio on 12 and 13 June, through British Council. The workshop was organised for the Continuing Professional Development of RAD members and registered teachers.

The Royal Academy of Dance is the international teacher education and awarding organisation for dance, and is one of the partners of the British Council.

One of its missions is to enhance the knowledge, understanding and practice of dance internationally by educating and training teachers and students as well as providing examinations to reward achievement and so preserving the rich, artistic and educational value of dance for future generations. In achieving this, RAD introduced a Continuing Professional Development (CPD) scheme which is a process of continually updating and improving knowledge and skills in one’s professional life.
