Thirthirut, founder of Factopia Thailand, has been looking for ways to develop her creative hub. Currently she has a gallery space and studios for rent but she hopes to expand further. The Creative Hub Exchange helped her meet other hub managers, and she now has lots of ideas and inspiration for the future of Factopia.
The Creative Hub Exchange brought creative hub managers from the Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia and Vietnam to the UK for a week, where they visited UK creative hubs. They had a busy programme of events designed to facilitate collaboration and idea sharing, and to expose them to different business models and ways of running creative hubs. Thanks to the exchange Thirthirut now hopes to collaborate with other hubs to launch Factopia's Creative Residency Programme.
Three UK creative hubs organised and hosted the UK visit in collaboration with the British Council, and several other hubs across the UK participated in the exchange. It is hoped that several new collaborations will be formed from this exchange, including international collaborations.
